There’s such a beautiful storm out right now!!! Lightning out the hoo-ha, thundering like drums, and so much bloody rain! The lights are flickering and we can feel the wind from inside! It’s so friggan cool!
If only I could be at home sitting on the porch enjoying this weather. -____- but noo I’m stuck in a white wall building with nothing but computers.
One more hour and I’m free!!
I hope the storm is still active by the end of my shift!!
Decided to make dinner for my roommies today, I call this creation.. swissy pesto heaven. ha ha ha
As I’m cooking, I notice Sauda’s barking, so I go outside to check up on her… Yet, she’s not in the yard (which is incredibly odd because there’s no way she can get out, the whole yard is fenced in and there’s no holes anywhere). So it’s 24 degrees, I’m running around the house like a crazy pack of potatoes, and of course I start crying because I can’t find her. It’s even hotter in the house because of my cooking, so.. I’ll leave the sweaty images to you to figure out.
Anyway. Panic, run up stairs, get Garnet and Kayla, they search outside, and I break down and cry like a mad man. I run outside about to go looking for her when Garnet tells me she managed to get in the neighbors yard…. which is also fenced in and the only way in is through the gate… So.. we have some investigating to do.
She’s inside now with Brute and I think I’ll keep it that way for a bit. Gave her at least twelve kisses when we found her. Mother of earth.
So. Pasta’s almost done cooking, and my baby is safe and sound. Chris will be home in about an hour so we’ll be able to eat as a family. :) d’aww.
